HERENOW Films Pvt. Ltd. is not just a company. It is a creative ecosystem — alive, purposeful, and rooted in the belief that every human being carries a story the world is waiting to hear. Founded in 2018 by actor Mayur Soneji and co-founded with Mitali Mayur Soneji, it was born in Rajkot, in the heart of Saurashtra.

In My Own Words
The Founder's Letter
— Mayur Soneji, Founder
I did not choose this path. This path chose me.
From the time I was a young boy walking the disciplined corridors of Sainik School, Balachadi, I knew that something inside me was searching — not just for a career, but for a calling. That search led me to the study of the human mind through Psychology at M.S. University, Baroda, then deeper into the art of guiding others through my Bachelor of Education from IGNOU. Every step, every classroom, every stage I stood upon was quietly preparing me for something larger than I could then imagine.
I have lived many lives as an actor. I have breathed through the frames of Shoorveer on JioHotstar, walked the emotional landscapes of Vitthal Teedi, Saiyar Mori Re, Kasoombo, Samandar, Victor 303, and many more. Each role taught me something no textbook ever could — that storytelling is not a profession. It is a responsibility. A responsibility to truth. To the audience. To the human experience in all its complexity and beauty.
But a moment came — still and certain as dawn — when I realised that performing alone was not enough. That my purpose was not just to tell stories, but to build a world where stories could be born, shaped, and shared at every level of the creative journey. That moment became HERENOW Films Pvt. Ltd.

I started HERENOW Films Pvt. Ltd. with a simple, profound belief — that creativity, when practiced with purpose, has the power to transform lives. Rajkot is my home. Saurashtra is my soil. And it is here — in this city, in this culture, in this deeply rooted and beautifully alive part of Gujarat — that I chose to plant this seed. Because I believe the stories of this land deserve to be told with the same craft, the same scale, and the same reverence as any story told anywhere in the world.
